• Residual current circuit breakers Ex9CL, class AC and class А Modular residual current devices Ex9CL-H and Ex9CL-N in two or four-pole design. Technology is based on the classical principle of permanent magnet and electromagnetic armature, providing full voltage independence of protective functions. Circuit breakers comply with the requirements of the standards IEC/EN 61008-1. The basic Ex9CL-H Series provides residual current devices with conditional short-circuit resistance of 10 kA. Basic types in AC and A versions are available for nominal currents ranging from 25 to 63 A; S and S+A versions provide up to 100A. Nominal residual currents cover the values of 30, 100 and 300 mA. Economic series of residual current devices Ex9CL with conditioned short-circuit resistance of 6 kA. Basic AC types are available in two and four-pole design, with nominal residual current of 30 or 300 mA.

  • Residual current breakers with overload protection Ex9CBL Modular combined residual current devices with circuit breaker, with a breaking capacity of 10 kA for Ex9CBL-H Series and 6 kA for Ex9CBL-N Series. The devices meet the requirements of the standard IEC / EN 61009. These protectors are intended for household and industrial applications. They provide 50 per cent space economy compared to separate residual current device and separate circuit breaker. Ex9CBL-H Series is provided with nominal currents ranging from 6 to 40 A, and B and C breaker tripping characteristics. The device’s parameters are determined by the nominal residual current of 30 mA, and AC and A sensitivity. Due to their tripping capability of 10 kA, they are intended for all applications, including the most demanding ones. The economic Ex9CBL-N Series is available for nominal currents ranging from 6 to 40 A with B and C tripping characteristics. For all versions, nominal residual current is 30 mA and sensitivity is AC and A. Due to their breaking capability 6 kA, they are designed for simpler applications with lower expected short-circuit currents.

  • RCD add-on blocks Ex9LE Ex9LE RCD add-on blocks are intended for combination with Ex9BH and Ex9BN circuit breakers, meeting the requirements of IEC / EN 61009. Versions for all pole variants of Ex9BH and ExBN breakers are available and thus enable various combinations of apparatuses integrating the functionality of a residual current device with over-current protection. Compared to magnetic conception, this state-of-the-art electronic technology brings advantages consisting in a more precise evaluation of the residual current and further significantly extends the device's operational reliability. The electronic version does not face the difficulty of armature magnetisation like conventional magnetic devices, while regular testing is required by the standards to detect and eliminate this issue. For Ex9LE modules, regular testing is required only in order to formally meet the requirements of standards and other mandatory legal documents; recommended interval is one year. Devices are provided for the entire range of nominal currents of attached circuit breakers, i.e. up to 63 A. Nominal residual current can be selected out of 10, 30, 100 or 300 mA. Conditional short-circuit resistance is determined by the breaker’s tripping capacity, i.e. 10 kA for the combination of Ex9LE with Ex9BH and 6 kA for Ex9LE with Ex9BN.
