• Air Contactors 3RT The three pole 3RT10 contactors are admirably suited for one of the most generally encountered applications switching three-phase motors. The complete power range from 3 to 250 kW/400 V, for AC as well as DC operation, is covered by just seven sizes.

  • Vacuum Contactors 3RT12 vacuum contactors are the right choice if you place significant value on extremely high performance and availability and increased personnel and plant safety. When compared to conventional air contactors, they offer a significantly higher electrical endurance. There are no arcs and no switching gases. This means that main contact wear and erosion are negligible.

  • Coupling Relays The SIRIUS coupling relays to switch motors and auxiliary and control circuits have been especially designed to operate with electronic control systems.

  • Reversing Combinations Clockwise or counter-clockwise - Siemens reversing combinations allow a motor to be operated with two directions of rotation. This combination comprises two standard contactors where the phases are interchanged.

  • Star-Delta Combinations Three standard contactors and a time relay are used for star-delta combinations. The combina tions are preassembled and tested for both AC and DC operation.

  • AC1-Contactors The special 3RT14 AC-1 contactors with 3 NO main contacts. These are cost-effective alternatives for rated operating currents greater than 100 A to 690 A. These AC-1 contactors are especially optimised to switch loads according to utilisation category AC-1.

  • Capacitor Contactors 3RT16 capacitor contactors are used to switch power capacitors which are used for reactive current compensation.

  • LZS / LZX Plug-in Relays Plug-in relay coupling elements can be ordered complete or as single modules. The relays are plugged into the socket and this is snapped onto the 35 mm standard mounting rail acc. to EN 50022. A fixing bracket can be ordered for the MT series that additionally fixes the relay into a plug-in socket (under conditions of increased mechanical stress). For the RT and PT series, a combined fixing and ejection bracket is available which can be used to remove the relay when relays are mounted side-by-side.
